In For The Long Long Haul

Upwards of a year it seems.
The second publisher may have a first notice turnabout of 1 to 2 months, but once your past the initial "courtship" phase and engaged to possibly "marry" it's a long "courtship". Anywhere between 2 months to an entire year (and this isn't saying whether that is in addition to the 1-2 months you already waited to move onto this next phase of the courtship).

I hope initial acceptance means a better than good chance of publication. It would kind of blow if you wait over a year just to find out they're rejecting you.

In the meantime still no word on Freelancers. Hopefully that is a good sign.
