I'm seriously considering doing a brand new fan fiction, taking it in a direction I haven't gone before... but, just to make sure, I'd like to know that someone will be reading said fiction once I write it. So, to that end, would -- say a dozen readers please post on this post that they'd like to see a new fan fiction? That'd be nice (and encouraging enough for me to do it)!
At the halfway point (6 votes of confidence) I'll let you know what I'm planning to work on for my next fan fiction project (as I plan to get back to work on Azkaban over on the Harry Potter fan website).

And Islands of Eros is... OFF!
Though by that I mean we're off and running, not canceled.
Now that the group is FINALLY listed on Yahoo! Groups listings (look for Islands of Eros on the Yahoo! Groups' search bar) hopefully we can start bringing in members and getting things off the ground.
The next posting on ErosIsles (the Adult Erotica RPG game) will be this weekend, starting with a several post look at the different island nations of Eros.
In the meantime I'm working on a first batch of reviews for Islands, I should have something up by the weekend.
Otherwise come on over and visit. We could use more members!

Changeling Press' Xmas Gift To Me... a uniform across the board rejection notice
Yeah. Nothing says Christmas cheer like an across the board unified rejection on the basis that they don't publish Lesbian (Erotica)... yeah, all the weeks I've waited you would have thought THAT important detail could have been brought up sometime before the last week before Christmas. Somehow I should be more miffed at the bad timing of the company's notification, and yet I'm not.

Speaking of things best left unsaid for now, we are still waiting for word one on my submissions of Freelancers, Hentai Review Poppers (the series) and Home Schooled Witchcraft : Extra Lessons. Once again no word might be good, especially since it didn't take long for Just Happy To See Her to get shot down twice and all... still, when will I finally hear back about these titles?!?
Of course if Just Happy To See Her wasn't strong enough for these companies... brrr... wonder what kind of really really intense erotica they're running in their publications? Man... boggles the mind there. Whoa.
Don't forget to check out my MySpace page (Project Darke Raven) for my RPG To the d20 Power premiere this weekend! First review so far out of the starting gate is The Complete Book of Dwarves (AD&D 2nd Edition)... more on what comes after coming on that site, so stay tuned.

February's Hentai Review Poppers
Just got New Bondage Fairies Book One and will be ordering again...
If this is any indication of my overall feeling for the series I see a high score for the whole series. What score, however, you'll have to wait to February to see (of course if you've seen this series you should have a good idea what kind of score it deserves).

First of the BookMooch books arrives.
After mailing out a dozen books (and packing up another dozen to go next week), the first of the books arrive! That means it's time to start preparing positive feedback and... score?
I am about to plunge into the scoring system for positive feedback but here's my first inclinations for positive feedback points.
Points for first books of the year cycle.
+5 for first book of the year sent in
+4 for second book of the year sent in
+3, +2 and +1 for third fourth and fifth books sent in (in that order).
Points for time taken to arrive.
+3 for arrival within 10 days
+2 for arrival within 11 to 20 days
+1 for arrival within 21 to 31 days
Extra Effort Points +2
No points will be negative points... why should they, all my gripes and complaints are with the US Postal Service, not individual people!

Strike Two for "Just Happy To See Her"
It hasn't been that long since I sent out "Just Happy To See Her" to the second publisher, and already I got back a rejection notice.
Well now I'm moving on to the third publisher (final for now until more sites and possible publishers come to my attention) and I'll need some time to set that up (get the submission ready to send in). Well, I guess at this rate "Just Happy To See Her" won't make it out of 2007 before using up all it's submission possibilities (sad to say but most likely true).
At least the other proses (Freelancers, the Hentai Review Poppers series and HSWC : Extra Lessons) are still holding on (with no word yet as to their progress). I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but if I were an optimist I'd say it's a good thing (yeah, that'd be nice).
For a change of pace in terms of my writing why not come on over to see my discussion on paper RPGing in this video game world over at www.animeboredom.co.uk, and the first week of my weekly RPG articles/reviews over at my MySpace page (starting this weekend exclusively for my MySpace page - Project Darke Raven).

A Reference Book Darkly
Right now I'm tinkering with an Unofficial Guide to All Things Ravenloft.
To that end I'm getting back in touch with the dread domain, and looking for all things Ravenloft. To help me out in this venture sign up over at BookMooch.com and become an active trader (I already have a full wish list of Ravenloft stuff that I'm looking for), submit stuff and maybe it'll get mailed to me.
Oh, I put a bunch of stuff for trade as well. Mailing's going to be a little slow with the tight budget and all but I'll get everyone's packages to them ASAP! Promise!

HSWC : Extra Lessons Now Looking For Publisher
Just sent out Extra Lessons for it's search for a publisher.
Of course it'll probably won't be until the new year when first word begins to come in on the title, but as updates come in on the search for a publisher be here (and HSWC's website) for updates.
With stories focused on Rebecca/Ariel, Duske/Dawne and Anna/Candice I hope it finds it's mark (and a publisher) quickly. I'd like to see it released during the first year run of HSWC the adult comic at least.
Now let's see if I can come up with a new idea before the end of the year for another book to submit to publishers!

Hentai Review Poppers 2007 Edition Finished
OK, for the most part it's finished. With the exception of the Best Hentai of 2007 Awards all reveiws are now done.
Of course I am still looking for a publisher for the series, but at least I have two books put to bed (for the most part) when I start publishing (whenever that will be). Stay tuned for updates as they come in.

In For The Long Long Haul
Upwards of a year it seems.
The second publisher may have a first notice turnabout of 1 to 2 months, but once your past the initial "courtship" phase and engaged to possibly "marry" it's a long "courtship". Anywhere between 2 months to an entire year (and this isn't saying whether that is in addition to the 1-2 months you already waited to move onto this next phase of the courtship).
I hope initial acceptance means a better than good chance of publication. It would kind of blow if you wait over a year just to find out they're rejecting you.
In the meantime still no word on Freelancers. Hopefully that is a good sign.

Quick as a Flash...
And "Just Happy To See Her" is out again looking for a new publisher.
This is Publisher #2 (of 3 to date).
Not to say I am becoming a wee bit concerned but... I am becoming a wee bit concerned. Still, it is the second of three possible publishers so I do have a little wiggle room left with "Just Happy To See Her" right now.
I won't give up though, I'll just find other people to publish with sticking to my guns of getting all these books published. Just you wait and see.
Now working on both HSWC : Extra Lessons and a Pocket Passions video game book of Nintendo DS slash PSP reviews. That, however, might be harder to find a publisher for since I only have marks for Adult Erotica publishers at this moment. I need to dig about and find a video game book publisher for Pocket Passions.
Reminds me to also work on a Wii book somewhere down the line.

Change of Name
In the end I changed the name of the title I was working on.
Now completed it is called "Just Happy To See Her".
Weird title, maybe, but it's now submitted and represents the second title I am waiting for word on in terms of finding a possible publisher.
Next book I'm working on is still kicking around my mind, but right now the top thought in my head is a possible fetish book of sorts. Maybe.
Right now I'm going to focus on reviews and work for www.barebackmag.com while I consider my next book. I'd actually like to try and get Duet published, now that I think about it, but I am presently pitching to a few fantasy/sci-fi erotica companies so I need to find a down to earth Erotica company to pitch Duet to.
If anyone has any suggestions feel free to drop a line and let me know what you think is a good place to try my luck with.

Well, yes I can't publish my fanfics... I can publish original material though.
So far I have two books in the works. One of these is Freelancers (reprinting my 2005 to 2006 hentai storyarc of the same name from www.barebackmag.com). The second is a short anthology of stories (again from www.barebackmag.com for the most part), with the tenative title of "Dickgirl Surprise" (though before I submit it for possible publication it might get a different title).
A third book, focus I am still debating on, is still in the works. So far it'll probably be a fantasy book but I'm blanking on the topic.
Still working on publishing a review book of all my Hentai Review Poppers reviews to date as well. Have to put it together again though, then find a publisher.
Updates on publishing quests (and progress as to how titles are faring finding a publisher) will be here as updates become available.
